While entrepreneurs come from all age brackets, the vast majority of entrepreneurs skew older, with 40 being the median age for business owners in the United States. This statistic seems to jibe with our experience as a printing company. However, we’ve also noticed younger entrepreneurs tend to create newer, more exciting concepts that challenge how everyone views the world.

While younger entrepreneurs often make the news, it’s often because they’re pretty unusual. The average age of entrepreneurs has in fact, been slowly rising since the late 90s. Older, successful entrepreneurs are still pretty much the rule rather the exception- tending to build more stable companies than younger business creators.
There are numerous outliers though. At the end of it all however, age is just a number. We all play the biggest role in our successes and failures.
